Roles and accountability
PayOS is a responsible party for its own account, security, billing, and compliance uses. It may act as an operator when processing merchant-customer information on a merchant’s documented instructions.
Data-subject rights
Data subjects may exercise applicable POPIA rights through privacy@ieosuia.com. Merchants remain responsible for notices and requests concerning data they control.
Operators and transfers
We require operators to protect information and process it only as authorised. Cross-border processing uses lawful grounds and appropriate contractual or organisational safeguards.
Incidents and complaints
We investigate suspected compromises and notify where required. Unresolved complaints may be submitted to South Africa’s Information Regulator.
